While I do enjoy the first two to a degree I dont feel Michael is remotely interesting past his initial backstory. Oddly enough, I do find the Friday series more interesting. At least the Jason character had some sort of development throughout the first several films and felt a little less one note. He did eventually become a “zombie guy” and thats where he started to loose a little traction. I still think he was a decent antagonist until 8/9/10 and on.I don’t really have a fav franchise because every franchise is so hit and miss. I do have fav films within each franchise.

You reduce demand (immigration, banning foreign ownership) and increase supply (rezoning, expedited permitting, land value tax, direct building, enforced vacancy tax).It is deliberately NOT being fixed because most voters and politicians are homeowners. NIMBYism is a cancer and it is killing this country. Given the complete unwillingness of governments at all levels to increase supply, the federal government should cut immigration to a small fraction of what it is now to help balance the market. Failure by the government, but really a failure of the Canadian public and our democracy in general.

Then again, feel similar about Halloween.Nightmare put alot more time and care into their practical effects and kill scenes, the supernatural/dream angle was fun and new (to me, I grew up with all these movies), and I found his backstory the most interesting out of the bunch.This is like that post from a few days ago where OP was like “What’s your unpopular opinion on horror?” And his “unpopular” opinion was that practical effects are better than CGI.
